I felt it on that PTM and Cage the Elephant tour, despite liking CtE a lot too, it's just not how I would have picked the show to go. I just see a lot of concerts myself, just got back from one tonight actually, and it happens so often that people don't respect the event as a whole but do so in a public way that ruins others experiences.
